| Spring is truly here.
Buds have blossomed, flowers appeared, the earth has really started to take on a thriving, growing appearance!! In the last week there has been some amazing changes, the differences were pretty big from one day to another. We started mowing last week, hard to believe that it's been almost five months since we were in thick of things. Jesus has blest the start of business, and many thanks for His continuing to.
A funny story from last week...........
One evening we(my siblings and I) decided to take a quick jaunt(in canoes) on a river that is near by. Everyone loaded up in the vehicle and off we went. We arrived at "the park" got a parking space, hustled out and started unloading the canoes. We've had a bit of practice as of late, the unloading process only takes a couple of minuets. Off came the canoes, on went the lifejackets, tossed the paddles in the canoes, picked them up and headed towards the river. Not many steps down the path, someone said, wait a minuet that isn't the river....... that's a field. We had gone to the wrong park, the river was probably about one mile further east, on another road. So, we headed back to the vehicle, a lady that was in the park, asked, are you looking for the river?...... she pointed and said it's that way........ (we've only lived in this area 13 years) I was laughing for quiet awhile imagining what i would have said, if i saw the situation happen to someone else,.................. six people with canoes heading for an empty field..................
LOL, it still makes me laugh.

| I was awakened with this though around four o'clock saturday morning.......
What kind of God would Jesus be, if he did not provide us with every tool needed to overcome anything we face? Proverbs 3:5-6, 2 Samuel 22, Ephesians 6:10-18
Great things to keep in mind, that apply to so many situations.
May Jesus bless you

| Out walking tonight.... or rather this morning. I've recently realized I talk a bit about beauty of the night. lol since in the winter, I go outside more at night, it makes a little bit of sense.
Seeing the beauty....... Hebrews 11:3 (Ref. Psalms 33:6) Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear
For up to see the moon, steadfast in it's orbit, moving across the sky. A tree standing straight and strong. In the snow the color blue reflected T he stars shining faithfully Heaps of Cold air to breath, Breath that gives life
Everyone of these things, no matter how small or large, is framed/held in place by the word of God.
If God cares enough to hold things like that together, by His word, cares enough to know when a sparrow falls to the ground, cares enough to know the number of hairs on our heads, cares enough to speak through the beauty of creation.
Surely He must care about His children, who obey Him.
It is very easy to look at circumstances, get worked up, get worried, and all such doubts(sin). In the process, losing site of Jesus.
I've really been pondering things of this nature, this week. If Jesus cares about sparrows, He cares about us. The plans He has for us are perfect plans, the thing with perfect plans, is they are also at the perfect time. If the very worlds are held together by ONLY the spoken word of God. Surely the words spoken in the Bible have the same power, they are the promises of God, So no matter the circumstances, no matter how tough stand on God's Word. He will direct our paths.
Reading the George Muller book listed in last post. If you don't have it, somehow find a way to read, in the first chapter, the sub chapter titled "Faith is from God". A very big key to victorious living, Absorb it, breath it. He states faith and the living of it quite simply.... So.... let's live it!!
:- ) blessings from Jesus

| Well......
Someone came up with the idea for a challenge. Each person is given $20 to spend on food, to make a meal(diner or supper as some call it) for eight people. With the idea to stay around $15 (i blew it $19.04) Staples, ie basic cooking items (spices, oils) or things like rice, potatoes etc. were provided. So, to shopping we went..... WOW If really gave me an appreciation, for ladies that serve meals, to large families, that taste great and have a lot of variety, and don't spend many $100's a week on food. Hats off and many cheers to them!!
Ocean perch in lemon butter Green beans with mushrooms (either olive oil or butter and maybe some garlic) Potatoes of some sort (haven't decided how to cook them yet) and of course Ice Cream for dessert!!
now for the cooking...................
***EDIT*** 1/14
Meal turned out fine... Thing learned, don't cook the fish with lemon peel mild bitter flavor but quite edible. Green beans, mushrooms, and garlic sautéed in olive oil baked potato, with added sour cream. And you can never go wrong with Ice cream

Jesus bless you | | |
